Do OS X Lion Server is required to download OS X Lion 10.7.4

Hello friends, I am using the MacBook Pro and I was planning to download the Mac OS X lion for it. But I have read somewhere that I must have OS X Lion server if i need to download OS X Lion? Is that True ? Problem is that I am not having the Lion server and i'll need get one for me if that humor is true.

One more thing I would like to tell is that I dont want to spoil my system anyhow. So please help me out before I go for the download. Thank you.

Nope, that is not true. Let me clear your doubt. There are actually two versions of OS X Lion, one is the the client version and other is Server version. And as you want it for your personal use, i guess you want to download the Client and that doesn't require any server.

If you are trying to download the Server version then it required to have the Server connected to it. You better download the client version, as you are using one system and do this same thing when trying to do update of OS.
