why my computer is restarting after windows loading is over?

i am using windows xp sp2 as os in my pc,
my computer is rebooting after windows loading sceen
before the welcome screen
pls tell how to solve this problem?

This seems like a ram problem that is installed on the machine. What is your computer specifications that you have put together? Can you try to do a ram test by downloading the memtest tool from the net and then running it over night to find out if the test outputs any sort of errors. Also is the computer getting overheated, this you can check in the Hardware Monitor in Bios.

simply i format my pc now there is no problem
now my pc is working smoothly with no problems.

but i think i got the problem by virus,is my thinking is right or someother thing makes my pc reboots after windows loading screen ?
