HT5242 update installation Failed in OS X Lion

I am having a problem in updating my java in my Mac OS X (10.7.2). I am downloading the update file using the software updater. But when I start installing it, when it validates the package it gives an error message and I am unable to install it. I tried it twice and both the time same problem. I was unable to update my software. How can I update the software?

Yes I know that there is a problem with the update and you might be shocked by listening that I tried it around ten times to install it. All the time I was unable to install it. After then I just closed the software updater and tried to install it manually. And guess what I succeed. I think that the problem is with the software updater. I downloaded the update using browser and installed it.
