lg e500 notebook restarts after windows 7 logo

Hi!, some months ago i installed windows 7 64bits on lg e500 notebook. Until now it has been running with no problems.

Here's the problem: 2 days ago i shutted it down and it was installing some updates (and saying not to unplug the machine) so i went out and left it installing the updates. Then, my notebook was freezed so i had to shut it down (manually). When i restarted it the windows logo appeared along with some colored stripes (blue, green, orange,...) and after some couple of minutes my machine restarted (by itself) and did the same thing.
To sum up, windows doesn't start correctly so i can't log in my account

Do you even get a blue screen error message on the screen when your notebook boots? Since you restarted your notebook before having its updates fully installed, I would guess that some of the windows files might have corrupted and therefore you will need to repair the operating system with the help of windows 7 dvd.

1st of all thanks for responding.
no, i never had a error message, just that annoying stripes.
ok, i will try to repair the os with the windows 7 disc.
