Windows 8 Consumer Preview: Switching to Microsoft account gives error 0x800c0019

There is no problem with the internet connection and I am sure about this that the internet connection is very fine. But after installing the windows 8 consumer preview, I found that this is not able to connect to the Microsoft update. Whenever I try to connect to the Microsoft account then this shows me the error with the code as mentioned in the title. I am not able to download the update the Microsoft update. Can you please help me with this?

This happened to me as well. Actually there might be fault in the system date. Check that if the system date is correct or not. This seems that the system date is incorrect and that is the reason that you are not able to download the update.

Just go to the hot spot and from there open the start menu. Now right click on that and left click the computer management. Choose the device Manager and check if you are getting any explanation points. If there is any mark like this then let me know this and we will try to get this problem like this.

Just try by disabling the option for checking the server certificate revocation within the Internet Explorer and that will solve the problem for you.
