Re: How to close Apps in Windows 8 Consumer Preview?
If you have open any app on the desktop then you can simply close the same by clicking on Close button located on that particular application. In case any windows which you are not using gets suspended automatically and so that system can prevent unwanted consumption of background resources. You can use any of the below mentioned steps to resolve the matter.
From the Touch Screen you have to swipe down from top edge to the bottom edge.
Another way is to move the mouse cursor to top-left corner till you get suspended apps option. Now you have to slide cursor down to left edge until and unless you are on the app which you wanted to close. You should right click on the App and click on Close.
If none of above are not working then you should use Task Manager to close the app. Even you can press Alt+ F4 from the keyboard to resolve the issue.
