What startup programs should/could be removable

When I ran the CCleaner, I got several start up programs and services running on my computer. You can see this in CCleaner Startup section. I have heard that some startup programs slows down the computer bootup and performance. So it could be helpful if someone gives me information about what start up things should or could remove from the system.

Re: What startup programs should/could be removable

When starting Windows, along with it sometimes loaded applications, which do not affect system operation, and that not only delay the start but consume resources, and are mostly unnecessary. They are used for example to program start faster when you want to run or to advise of updates, not forgetting that can also serve to protect the system as antivirus and firewall, or to harm and give us headaches such as viruses and spywares.

To differentiate the curriculum to keep and to delete that startup, you have multiple tracks. First, the notification bar. Some of the programs loaded at boot appear in this bar. By spending a few seconds the mouse cursor over an icon you can get information about a program. If you do not use it, you can remove it from startup.

I think that you need to install
  • ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager.
  • jv16 PowerTools 2011 ? Contain more than 20 registry and system clean-up utilities.
It displays the list of each and every one app that is loaded automatically when Windows starts upYou will get this information for each start up app: Startup Type (Registry/Startup Folder), Command-Line String, Product Name, File Version, Company Name, Registry Location or file system Location, and more. This app then helps you to disable or delete unwanted programs.

Re: What startup programs should/could be removable

Many programs known and some not so seize the moment of installation to enter an order so that at the beginning of windows will start automatically. If not controlled, we can find a computer running very slowly for the many programs open. It is not a disaster to disable all programs, but some should run at the start of windows, such as antivirus and firewall. Usually they activated for boot the Messengers, nero, office, Real Player, Quick Time, Java, etc. It's about disabling unused often already run when really needed.

Basically you can take extra installed programs, such as Cyberlink etc. disable everything. Either via msconfig under start-run-type msconfig-start or system-enter with additional tools, such as ccleaner.

Startup Programs reasonably manage is not easy for inexperienced users. Windows 7 and the browser have everything required to optimize the system optimally. In order to name you all here at once, we needed a yard long dialogue.

Media players such as RealPlayer and QuickTime, which is a fairly aggressive in your system tray nest. Other programs that you can easily expand its so-called quick start software. Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, OpenOffice also make use of this example: by already part of the program in memory to load the software will start up faster as you click. This is only useful if you use this software quite often and therefore profit right time to start such a program. Otherwise: just turn it off.
