xp home wont reinstall

hi everyone new here im tony. my problem is i have a dell notebook inspiron mini 1011 i just reinstalled windows xp home with the dell disk i got with it but when i get to the window licencing page i press f8 to agree and nothing happens i dont know what to do can anyone please help me

What you can do is just try to reset the BIOS. I think that there is lack of power. So try with that and let us know if this solves the problem or not.

You will need to open up the case and pull the bios reset jumper, after that restart the computer, and it will reset the bios. Replace the jumper then restart the computer again. If that doesnt works, then you will have to call Dell for the Default Passwords that they have set up with your model no. of dell laptop.
