In that case you will have to install a graphical boot manager to do so and after that you will be able to select the sata0 or sata2 on bootup.I am having 2 sata hds and I am having windows xp pro on both of them and they are installed in dell 4700 dimension and I wanted to know that how to select sata0 drive or sata2 in order to boot from, is there anyone who can help me out??
Just press F8 or on Dell computer F12 when you turn it on and as soon as the Dell Logo appears and after that you will get a list of bootable devices and from there you can choose the drive to boot from, by default it will boot from the first one in the BIOS boot order, just try it out and then let me know if it is helping.
I will try out the same but then I just wanted to know that will I be able to choose a hard drive which is not in the bootable disk list using the boot manager. I am asking so because the bios seems to be recognizing only sata0, usb or cd drive, ide hard drive, floppy drive and so, any further help for the same will be appreciated.
