Getting blank screen after installing Ubuntu 10.10 iBook G4 PowerPC

Well I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 PPC on my iBook G4. I need to use above mentioned command at the time of installation otherwise I am getting white screen which did not seems to go at all.

install video=ofonly

after running above mentioned command installation happen in the smooth manner.
restarting the computer I got prompt to select l or c and after that I got yaboot screen. I entered Linux and pressed enter there was no response. I got blank screen on the system.
I am not able to figure out what went wrong????

You should enter following code at the time of yaboot prompt.
Linux 1

It will ask for the root password. Entering that you have to download

xorg.conf file for iBook of yours. 
wget http://mac.linux.be/files/xorg/ibook6.txt
mv ibook6.txt /etc/X11/xorg.conf

press Ctrl + D in order to continue with booting.

When you get second yaboot prompt you should run below mentioned code.

Linux single

It will make menu appear on the screen. You will need to select root shell with networking option.
You have to use the arrow keys in order to scroll it. you have to hit the Tab key in order to select Ok and Press enter.
You have to run below mentioned code

wget http://mac.linux.be/files/xorg/ibook6.txt
mv ibook6.txt /etc/X11/xorg.conf

command prompt would return and you will need to select resume normal boot and type
reboot
