macbook pro bootcamped with windows 7 - "missing operating system"

I have a macbook pro bootcamped with windows 7 (torrent) and mac os. My mate was using a program from a disc called backtrack 5, he then proceeded to install it, however he said it ran out of space or something. I didnt think anything of it. I then tried to log onto windows and it said "missing operating system". I then went through the installation process to realise at step 5 or so that one of the options deletes all the operating systems. Can someone if this has happened or how I am able to get my original windows operating system back if possible please?

Hey John,

Try using the installation media from Windows 7 to run a ASR or a Repair on the OS.

WIth any luck, there might be some salvation.

If the OS has been in fact "wiped" by this application your friend installed...then I see no other option than to reinstall the Win7 OS.
