Help with the Dual Boot Vista and Windows 8

Currently I am running Windows Vista on my computer and I want to have some experience with the Windows 8. So I want to ask that if it is possible to dual boot the PC with the Windows Vista and Windows 8.

I would like to tell you that this is not even the beta version of the Windows 8 so please don’t expect so much from that. This is just the Developers Preview. But if you wan to have some experience of this then you can surely do the dual boot as you do with the other operating system. Just assign the partition to get this install and then Windows will do the rest of the things.

In the case of a dual-boot Windows 8 with XP or Vista, restore points in Windows 8 or Vista are not stored as this get deleted each time you start the previous system. We can intervene in the registry of Windows XP to bypass the loss of restore points in Windows 8 or Vista. After installing Windows 8 in dual-boot with Windows vista, Windows 8 is positioned in the default boot option (since it is the last installed). On the startup screen, so this is Windows 8 is highlighted and will start automatically after the countdown of the time specified. To boot vista, you must select it with the directional arrow "high" on the keyboard.

When installing two or more operating systems in multi-boot then choose the system in the Windows Boot Manager. Windows 8 and Windows Vista are denominated in the Manager, but when XP is installed, it appears in the text as earlier versions of Windows. If multiple versions are installed Windows 7, they all appear under the name Windows 8. You can change the name in the Startup Manager if you want.

Installing two operating systems is dual boot and that is actually a dual-boot between those two systems with a choice during the initial phase, to start either the systems. You can install Windows 8 Dual Boot with Vista. The partition or hard disk where Windows 8 will be installed must be of the minimum capacity of 16 GB (minimum recommended by Microsoft for 32-bit version), but do not hesitate to let Windows 8 deployed on a much greater capacity, if it has room.

This is not only you who is willing to do this. There are many people who want to experience a preview of Windows 8 and now you can download the Windows version 8 Developer Preview, a pre-beta that can not yet be used as the main system.

Dual booting is the best way to test the new operating system on your computer with Windows 7, XP or Vista, the ' installation of Windows 8 virtual machine. The only requirement to make the dual boot is a hard disk that has at least 20 Gig of free space. We must then, of course, download Windows 8 Preview from Microsoft. To begin, we need to create a second partition on the hard disk to the computer saying to consider the two partitions, one main and new, as they were two different disks. Now install booth the desired operating system on two different partitions and you will be done with the dual booting. Now ';you will just have to select the operating system at the time of booting.

If you have dual booted with the Windows 8 and after some time you wish to delete the partition for the Windows 8 then you might get problem to do that. I a m saying this because there are manky of the users who are facing the same problem. Anyway, if that point comes then you can make use of the program manager dual boot EasyBCD and you will be do this with EasyBCD.
