    Error 0x80070005 with windows 8

My computer is running Windows 8 on it and was having some problem with some of the functions. so I decided so restore the system but when I try to do that then it shows me the error 0x80070005. I tried to do this many of the times but it shows me the same thing all the times. This is the first time I have seen this error message and so don’t have any idea regarding this. Please help me to get out of this.

You must check for the DCOM security
    1. Click Start, click Run, type dcomcnfg, and then click OK.
    2. Expand Component Services and then expand Computers.
    3. Click the right mouse button on My Computer, and then click Properties.
    4. Click the COM Security tab.
    5. Under Access Permissions, click Edit Default.

This error code means "Access Denied" generally, the registry keys that manage the various functionalities of Windows Update. The solution to this problem is to verify the correct permissions on these keys. To do this, we must open the Registry by typing the command regedit from Start / Run, and navigate to the key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ WindowsUpdate

With this key selected, you will have to go to the Edit menu / permits, review the user and system administrator and select the check box total control. However, this problem is difficult to solve because it is possible that there are other registry keys involved in this error.

When you press the F8 key at startup, you have Advanced Options Menu or the Windows menu? You have to START the safe mode as an administrator, after F8 at startup, you should see the Administrator and user sessions on the Windows desktop. If you still have this error in safe mode as an administrator, I 've no solution for you.

Try by disabling the antivirus if you are using any in your computer and see if that allows you to do the restore without any problem.

In some cases you get to install even with the error message but the same underlying cause.
