Linux Mint Bluray Edition

We have CD and DVD version what about Bluray? It keeps about 8GB of data pictures what you could probably do with that. Is it accurate to say that it is feasible to compose the setup of Linux Mint? If its not too much trouble post your valuable responses.

There are not "CD and "DVD" versions for every-express. You hold the .iso graphics that fits on a CD-R or the more imposing one which needs a DVD-R. You are able to compose the CD or DVD estimated .iso graphics to BluRay discs.

Same here! As I have consistently felt that they are CD & DVD versions. I suppose you are able to utilize a DVD and Bluray for CD iso sizes but that could be a waste of DVD and BluRay space

This reminds me of the arguments fans have for Bluray versions of videos "there's considerably more space so there could be loads of renditions of the same video, with lots more extras " which disregards the truth of who is making them, and why. They WANT you to purchase more stuff; they're not heading off to pack that extraneous esteem in on the grounds that they can. You're still set up to need to purchase multi disc box sets admitting that the whole set might fit on one being as how its more productive for them.

Re: Linux Mint Bluray Edition

On the practical front, Bluray discs and burners are still sort of costly as of this moment the extent that I'm cognizant, so the numbers who will download an enormous iso to copy it can be quite insignificant extended over every last trace of the distros, without taking into consideration Mint's part of them? Yet then, what do you put on it? A full uncompressed introduce of every little item your midpoint user could need, combining numerous decisions like browsers could be lucky to touch the 4 GB stamp, what else is there for the midpoint user to fill closer to 8 GB? You're taking a gander at additional had practical experience programming which could be more straightforward for people to include on post install if they require it, as opposed to have it in the iso for most people that don't.

Gaming distros utilize a great deal of plate space, the greatest linux distro ISO I know is from SuperGamer with 8GB. I surmise Mint or alternate distro might build a quite imposing gaming release to fill the Blueray but I could send word to it to a USB pen rather than the Blueray.

Re: Linux Mint Bluray Edition

SuperGamer is a live DVD dependent upon VectorLinux, resolved to showcase gaming on Linux. The appropriation is upgraded for a gaming PC earth, with some tweaks to help speed up running from the live DVD. Additional games are united on top of some demo versions of restrictive games. All games are local Linux games, but users wishing to run Windows games could establish WINE or an identified emulator, for example Cedega.
