I cannot make any connection. I had to restart my MacBook with recovery DISCK to use safari. And I have to force quit system preferences, if I try to see the red color preferences.

I have an iMac in mid-2010 Lion of operation and on waking from sleep, the wireless connection will last a small amount of minutes and then stops. He still imagine it is connected, the machine still has an IP address, but the website will always feel the download and other computers on my network cannot observe the iMac.

Turning wifi off and back on fixes it. in anticipation of the next time you wakeful from sleep.

I have also had trouble with Wi-Fi after upgrading to Lion. It seems to happen whenever you boot back into Mac from Windows via Bootcamp. I tried to reboot and shutdown does not do anything to help. It does come back after a few minutes.

I do not know if it's because I turned off wifi and turned again, or if you only need a few minutes to realize that you are connected to the Internet. I do not know, nevertheless I had troubles with wifi too and is very frustrating.

I had huge troubles with my wireless connection. I have a 2nd generation Airport Extreme BS wireless network performance. In Snow Leopard, it was a solitary 802.11n network. Lion does not perceive the net and I had to alter the wireless settings on 802.11n (b / g compatible) previous to Lion connect.

This has been a reduce in Transmission rate 300 to 130 (best), with a huge increase in transfer times for large (50 - 150 MB) files on the network.

I did a clean install of Lion (and save a copy on a DVD of OS X Lion) and now the Wi-Fi works superior than with Snow Leopard. All the lion troubles fixed now.

All we are seeing is not your Wi-Fi game. When you start, find a code 802.11d beacon in the router determines which country is in from there, determine which channels are allowed to use and is limited to that range.

The specification does not dictate that the signal, if Multiple, holds a. Take the first thing you see and then set the appropriate channels. If you have a rogue router in the area that is not accurate for the country where it could be the cause of your WiFi card to limit their channels and may not be capable to connect to your router, due to limitations of the channel.

I do not know if that's the problem we are seeing, but is a possibility. I know of a way to force it to use a particular location.

What is the capacity to set the transmission frequency of the router? Can you choose to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? If so, attempt one or the other.

You can also attempt to download iStumbler and observe what other networks operating in your area. If you have other stronger signals, especially in the same channel you are using, try changing the channel on your router.

Same here. I have to reboot every time you lose the connection. It's getting frustrating because my wife thinks the wifi is off and I'm on my iPhone without troubles. Therefore, I hope that Apple acquire a fix for this. We have a MacBook Pro late 2009 so it is not too old and well within specifications so you have to be a mistake.

I just installed the 10.6.4 kernel extensions to the airport in accordance with these instructions and wifi is solid. Back to 8011 n merely transmit rates at 300 (max) as an alternative of 8011 n (b / g compatible and transfer rates of 120 to 130). Furthermore, the network connection is solid and after sleeping off.
