You may be competent to install Windows 8 directly into VHD and there is also possibility that have a dual boot system onto it. This happens without doing any physical partitions onto the hard disk. Using VHD you can able to do this upgrade process onto your existing system.

You will be required to do a clean install. There will be no upgrade option when the beta, RC or RTM is released. In short this is just an trial versions and there is not any fixed way that works to use this windows 8 completely works on all the time. Then try to do this installation task on your system if you think that this completely undeveloped windows 8 onto this system. Because of there will be so many features and functionality missing onto this software version.

That is a pretty straight forward setup. But there is stuff on W - probably from the failed installation attempts. The best way to do this task is to be an clean installation process. There will be recently new installation DVD of the windows 8 has been launched onto the market. You need to buy any compatible disk and then apply it onto your system. This is the proper installation process that works to do this installation process.

You need a 64-bit CPU with hardware virtualization support enabled in your BIOS if motherboard helps to do it. Download either the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 8 Developer Preview ISO file version on your system and run it to perform this installation task. Run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool, and click on the Browse button. This will be work to perform such upgrade task on your previous windows 7 system.
