Microsoft Preparing for a Windows 8 Beta

It seems to me that the Microsoft is planning to release the Windows 8 very soon. I am telling as my opinion because few days ago the MS developers are on live to chat with clients who would like to test Windows 8 on their system. They were there to provide the real-time support for Windows 8 developer preview installation. So it seems to that the testing phase is finally comes to an end and it will the time for beta release. I hope that we gonna see it soon.

Actually, it's totally logical, of course, the beta version happens to be the next version of the Windows Developer Preview, also was anyway announced that a beta and will appear followed by a release candidate before RTM and then the "normal" version will be thrown on the market. Unfortunately, no date for a possible release of Windows 8 Beta is known to Microsoft, it is also rather the quality of their own product as a quick availability, then at least Windows boss Steven Sinofsky.

I don’t think so. As far as I know that Microsoft declined to provide either information on announcements and demonstrations expected to Build and particularly the provision to developers a beta version of Windows 8.

Microsoft introduced the tablet models, including a version with a quad-core processor. The tablet may be a presentation at the conference Build, dedicated to the future of Windows.

Microsoft has apparently taken advantage of its Tech Ed event in New Zealand to reveal shelves for future Windows, including a prototype device with a quad-core processor.

The technical details are thin, however. Microsoft also declined to comment on the report or whether the future tablet is equipped with Windows 8. According to Alan Burchill, the terminal could be presented at a Microsoft next conference.

No date has yet been provided for the release of the final version of Windows 8, but the process must pass before a beta and RC (release candidate) and RTM (Release to Manufacturer or final version). Observers are the arrival of the product in fall 2012.

Microsoft has a few surprises at Computex with the first pictures and a short demo of their Windows 8 surface for touch devices. I personally like it and I would also like to see more soon and compare it with Android and other competitors. The first beta testers will be distributed to one year before the real show could soon appear on, like the first pictures above suggesting.

Windows 8, the next version of Microsoft's operating system has recently been the subject of a public presentation. One of its innovations is the startup faster and billed to a startup screen where each tile or tile represents applications. This screen is customizable, so tactile as well as with the mouse and keyboard. A preliminary version (not beta, but pre-beta) is available for download under the name of "Windows Developer Preview." It will be of interest primarily to developers because it contains design tools that can be integrated to develop applications Metro in HTML5, JavaScript, C / C + + or C # / XAML. The finished applications will be offered to the public in a Windows Store.

Re: Microsoft Preparing for a Windows 8 Beta

Until now, Windows 8 is still no official release date and Microsoft said only that the new version should arrive approximately 24-32 months after Windows 7. A very inaccurate statement - but now announces the Microsoft specialist first concrete dates. Accordingly, it is already in September 2011 to give a beta version before beginning to 2012, followed by a release candidate. In April, the development is completed, so then the international sales launch can be prepared.

It makes sense since it is the classic cycle of development known at Microsoft. Windows 7, launched in October 2009, and had put three years to replace Vista. Windows 8 have approximately the same time of development and would be launched in the fall, as is usually the case with the Redmond Company.

Re: Microsoft Preparing for a Windows 8 Beta

How far in the development of Microsoft Windows 8 already is can be read from the respective build numbers of the Internet versions reached. Windows 8 has the internal version number 6.2, followed by a four digit number that is approaching the last few weeks more and more the value 8000th

Build 8000 is generally regarded as an entry into the beta phase of the operating system. A new version of Windows 8, on 29 April has been created, the build number already 7996th Work on the first beta version should not have to wait long in coming.
