Exclamation My Root partition is full in Debian..

    Hi,
    I need help please...
My root partition is full and the reason is not in log files.
I did a mistake cutting the logs files with Natiuls and pasting them in a home folder (but this worked out for a couple of days)

But, now my root partition is full again, but this time I don't know why...
I can't find the logs files at var/logs and neither at the home folder...

    This is my status:

    thanks

You can try to free up some space is to do this:
    apt-get clean
Also uninstall applications you dont use, they will take up space and your 'trash' is in your /home/ partition. If you want to paste the outputs of these commands I might be able to help you figure out a partitioning scheme that is more useful to you.
    df -h
    cat /etc/fstab

Well, if you have got some space somewhere in the drive, an easy way would be to create a new root partition, copy your root partition there and adjust fstab accordingly. Another thing is that if you can increase your existing partition then that's also an option. I did this recently and was using jfs/LVM. Just needed to grow the LV and then issue a "mount / -o remount, resize" command and job done.
