Microsoft Security Advisory (2607712)

Does anyone know about the Microsoft Security Advisory (2607712)? In the forum it is told that fake Digital Certificates may perhaps permit Spoofing. Microsoft is conscious of in any case one fraudulent digital certificate got by DigiNotar, a certification right there within the Trusted Root Certification Authorities Store, on top of each and every one supported launches of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft is continuing to investigate this problem. Based on preliminary investigations, Microsoft provides an update for all supported versions of Microsoft Windows that following withdrawal of confidence by putting them in the trusted root certificates DigiNotar Microsoft Certificate Store:

Some users report problems with the patch 2607712th Sometimes can be, for example, some Web pages no longer call. In this case it might help to remove the patch again. To do this, for example, switch from Windows 7 in the Control Panel in the area "Programs | Programs and Features | Installed Updates." There you can see below in the "Microsoft Windows", select "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2607712)." To remove this update, highlight it and click on "Uninstall".

Optional, but highly recommended update that updates the revocation list for Windows XP SP3 and security Certificates contains additional Certificates. Thus, even more root certificates of "DigiNotar" inserted into the blocked list. See MSKB article KB2616676 and Microsoft Security Advisory 2607712 on Microsoft official site. .
