    Windows 8 supports Hyper-V Technology

Microsoft has formally established that Windows 8 will be sustaining Hyper Virtualization (Hyper-V) expertise. Hyper –V initially launched in support of Windows Server computer will currently be capable to task on Client OS by the use of Windows 8. Hyper-V will allows users to test, run over single 32-bit otherwise 64-bit x86 OS on the similar system simultaneously. Rather than working straightforwardly with the PC’s hardware, the OSs run within of a virtual machine (VM).

Hyper-V is capable to work on Windows 8 64bit with no below 4 GB of RAM. It needs a 64-bit system through Second Level Address Translation (SLAT) support. SLAT is a fact that decreases host CPU/memory consumption intended for memory concentrated VM’s.

I've tested two weeks with different virtual machines (VMs) to Hyper-V and 3.0 to try something to say about the integration with Windows 8. Let me begin to say that setting up and using the hypervisor works the same as in Windows Server 2008 R2, there are no major changes except the improvements Windows Now explaining earlier.

The Hyper-V virtualization system, currently only available in the server version of Microsoft software, allows you to run multiple operating systems simultaneously on the same machine, with the possibility of virtual disks that can reach the size of 16 TB.

A quantum leap in the available memory (previously 2 TB), which is due to the new format VHDX, which replaces the VHD.

The minimum requirements for the use of Hyper-V will be 64-bit version of Windows 8 and at least 4 GB of RAM, with the ability to create virtual machines to be 32 bits and 64 bits.

I think that here Virtualized applications might not work very well, such as gaming applications requesting strongly GPU. In addition it seems likely that Microsoft sees no great interest in opening wide the door to competitors in the OS machine man in the world. What makes us assume that the variations "home" or "personal" of the future will not offer Hyper-V

The query is: Is Hyper-V will quickly turn out to be fraction of the client otherwise is it a pre-beta experiment? If really built will sit, this is a huge step forward intended for the untying of Windows 8 of its ancestors. In premise you get many heritage components as well as security issues if you access legacy apps might run nearly. Virtual apps can flawlessly be included into the host desktop devoid of having to go at the cost of performance. Certainly there are potential issues for example VM-maintenance, security as well as resource utilization.
