Chrome Operating System can be installed on a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air by means of a couple of dissimilar techniques, in a comparable way that Windows can be installed by means of a couple of dissimilar techniques. You can boot Chrome OS from a USB flash drive as well by means of a conventional build.

For this, check out Hexxeh. otherwise, you must have to partition your MacBook hard drive, and boot Chrome using BootCamp. However, since Chrome OS is still extremely much mold made for Chromebooks, drivers can be hard to discover and there may be bugs while using either of the above two methods.

And at this moment an simplest method to acquire Chrome OS up and running, is to make use of the virtualization software called “Parallels Desktop”, which is a well-liked software for running Windows on a Mac. The most recent version of Parallels Desktop that’s Version 6, essentially has built-in Chrome OS functionality, thus it is strongly recommended to have this software for installing chrome OS.

Assuming that Parallels is the active window,

select File > Download Chrome OS.

Parallels will request you to verify that you desire to download Chrome OS, and will then begin downloading Chrome inside the application itself, rather than any browser. It will take about 20 minutes, off course depending on internet speed and once it completes download Chrome OS will appear in the Parallels Virtual Machines window.

Window > Virtual Machines List, within Parallels.

After reaching there click the Chrome OS virtual machine to launch Chrome OS in a disconnected window. It will look like the Image mentioned below:

Chrome OS will be launched within the Chrome OS window. However, you can customize the virtual machine previous to the early start up. And for that use the path,

    Virtual Machine > Configure.

The window will appear as you can see in the below image,
