    "0xC000009A" error while installing windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Hi, I am using windows 7 in my machine but still as it was not working perfectly thus I just made a decision to reinstall it, but when I was trying to get it installed in my PC I was getting "0xC000009A" error message and I am not that much familiar with this kind of error with the machine and thus not getting what could be the problem and the machine just stops responding over there only and nothing went ahead, and this was not just only with the windows 7 rather as I mentioned the same thing is happening while installing Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 as well so any idea what could be the problem?

How do I resolve it, as I haven’t experienced It ever I don’t know what shall I
    do next?

    Any suggestion?

I was also having the same problem and after searching it I came to know that when we try to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 on a PC that already has more than ten language packs installed at that time only PC stops responding and black screen appears and together with that moreover you obtain an "0xC000009A" error message.
And for resolving them there are certain updates that we have to install to resolve this issue before you install newer operating system. And make sure that updates are appropriate, I mean to say they are different for x86 and x64 based versions of Windows 7 and respectively with Windows Server 2008 R2 as well.

I would like to give you the link from where you can download it.

    x86 windows7

    x64 windows7

    x64 Windows Server 2008 R2

I am agree with the above user but there are certain Prerequisites that you have to follow, I mean to say you don’t have to craft any modernization to the registry.

And after downloading and applying the updates you have to simply reboot the machine in order to take effect of the changes that you have made.

See I have get very good solution for avoiding such error as we can uninstall the language which we don’t want rather than having whole language pack. For an example if suppose you want to uninstall the Japanese and the Spanish language packs.

So for doing that open a command prompt (CMD) and then type the following command, and then press Enter:

    lpksetup.exe /u ja-JP es-ES

for more information about the commands you can simply visit the following website.
