Cannot activate Windows 7 after Service Pack 1 installed

Just got the Any Time Upgrade from Amazon (not a reseller except Amazon) in order to upgrading from Windows 7 Premium toward Ultimate. Every part was fine... Some days afterward I allow Windows Update install the Service Pack 1. Following installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 it displays 'this copy of windows is not genuine' in worse right bend of desktop. In control panel it is showing that Windows is activated and real in addition to the 'this copy of windows is not genuine' will set off away only after few seconds. This occurs daily from the time when installing Service Pack 1. How do I fix this thing?

Re: Cannot activate Windows 7 after Service Pack 1 installed

Windows 7 before you install SP1 you need some preparations. Microsoft gives the following advice:
  • Remove pre-release versions of SP1 (if you have installed for normal users will not be the case) before the final version on your PC set.
  • Back up your important files on an external hard drive or DVD (if you do want to be sure of your case).
  • It is possible that some antivirus software installed SP1 prevents or delays. In this case, you can temporarily disable antivirus software.

For your issue there is on the possibility that it is a corrupted file, In order to check this thing you need to run the system file checker. It might on the other hand be a corrupt store otherwise registry entry. Attempt the sfc foremost. Click Start>type 'cmd' within the Search/Run box, plus right click on top of the CMD icon at the peak of the results window Choose Run as Administrator. While the cmd window opens type 'sfc /scannow' next to the prompt and press Enter. What time the scan finishes shut the cmd window.

Re: Cannot activate Windows 7 after Service Pack 1 installed

Microsoft has released the official DVD ISO of Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 already integrated. The advantage of these packages is that they require separate download and installation of SP1 after installing the operating system: everything is updated in the installation of Windows 7. For the uninitiated, the service pack is a mega-update that includes all updates released until the date of completion of the service pack itself: it also includes additional enhancements that speed up and stabilize the operating system. If then you have to install Windows 7, it is advisable to use the DVD with integrated Service Pack 1.

As suggested (and easiest) to obtain Service Pack 1 is to switch on automatic updating within Windows Update inside Control Panel and hang around intended for Windows 7 you that SP1 is prepared to be installed. Installation gets nearly 30 minutes and you will require restarting PC in the middle.
