How to assign permission to users to change Remote desktop.

Dear All,

I m facing a problem. actually i have a domain network, DC is running on windows sever 2008 R2, and client computers are on XP and windows 7. when my domain users log on to domain on client computers, they want to change the settings of remote desktop in system properties (some times allow and sometimes deny), however they are restricted users. so i want to give the permission to all my users to allow or remove the tick mark od remote desktop in system properties.

Please tell me what should i do.

Well, if you want to give access to other users or even if you want to change the users or groups with the remote desktop permission then follow the below steps mentioned:

First you will have to enable remote desktop to the users who you want to grant the permissions, for that follow the below steps:

1. First of all you have to open the System Properties control panel applet
2. After that select the Remote tab
3. Next you have to click the Select Users button
4. After that just click the Add button in the dialog that appears
5. Then you have to select the user and click the OK button

After following the above steps you have to now enable remote desktop access for a machine, for that the steps are given below:
If you have physical access to a machine, you can enable remote desktop access by performing the following steps:

1. Open the System Properties control panel applet
2. Select the Remote tab
3. Select the radio button to enable Remote Desktop
