    Making Windows 7 bootable CD

    Hi all
I have looked but cant see an answer to what I am after. Ive got Windows 7 32 which is quite unstable in that I will turn the computer on in the morning and it is a lucky dip if it is going to boot up or not. What I was wondering is how I can make a bootable CD from the version of windows I have on my computer so if it is playing up, I can simply boot off the CD and keep working. Is this the best thing to do?
    Thank you all
    cheers
    Darren

In order to boot and work, i will recommend you Pendrive rather than CD/DVD. Because it will give problem after few use but Pendrive works good. If you want to know how you can do that, just check the step by steps here: How to create Windows 7 bootable pendrive

Do you mean that you want to make the pen drive as a bootable drive? You need these two utilities to get your work done :
    BBIE - Bart's Boot Image Extractor http://nu2.nu/bbie/
    Bart's MKBT, Make Bootable http://nu2.nu/mkbt/

Or better read from the tutorials given here - How to create a Bootable USB Key?

No what I mean is that I DO NOT have a CD to create a boot pen drive. I only have windows installed on my computer so I need to get the boot information from my computer. Back in the old days with DOS you simply did the following:
    C:\> sys a:
which copies the boot files to the floppy disk a:

What I would like to do is to be able to create a complete bootable copy of windows from the copy installed on my computer.

    cheers

I dont think you can do such thing in windows 7 coz i dint found any feature for the same. You just cannot get the entire system on your pendrive and use the same to boot anywhere on different PCs. However, you can just backup your programs, system settings, and files.
