Will dual Floppy drives be supported by Windows 7?

I have a new computer. It has an Intel motherboard DG41TY that has a floppy controller. I have 2 floppy drives set up with Windows 7, but only identify the drive at the end of the cable. Both units have been doing at the connector and are shown separately, but if you hook the two until they show the slave. It's Windows 7 Professional. I thought that the B: drive is usually reserved for the slave drive, but it is available to alter my flash drive, so I wonder if this is a limitation in Windows 7.

I'm not aware of breaking support, Windows 7, the drive letter matters much less than before. You can assign the drive from A to B, and USB memory device would use a very good thing. In addition the unit can use Z instead of R is more likely a limitation of the motherboard on a Windows, but you have to check the BIOS settings, and bridges on the unit itself? If the windows to see drives mutually in Device Manager i.e. one with a yellow warning sign? Or is still just the one?

Have you checked the jumper caps as well? He tried the master / slave on another computer? Also, use a cable with a touch on it, right? As in the round of twisted wires 2.3 way through so the pinout at the end of the album is different from the pinout motherboard. Diskettes using Windows drivers, so no problem. The use of two was quite a niche market even back when. Obviously, even rarer now - I can use one, but I'm the only person I know who does. What does it take to if it is not too much to ask?

I’m a technician. I have a customer who won't come out of the dark ages. He likes having 2. He bought a new computer from me. I have a cable that supports 2 drives however there's only a twist on the very ending connector. Is that normal? I’ve tried different cables with the same results. I don’t know whether this will surely work or not but I hope it may work out for you. Just check it once.

As far as I know all the disk drives require a turn. If there is only one, you will need to ensure that before any of the drives I guess. So if it is directly on the edge connector, plug this end into the motherboard. In this way the rotation has already occurred for both units. In addition, the connectors are colored? It used to be gray motherboard, black elementary in the center of the cable, blue for the second command in the end and could easily be different if the newer cables though?

I do not think it's a case of Windows that do not support, it the BIOS, do most anything, much less two in those days. Floppy disks are obsolete. Explain that to him. There is a case of difficulty of being a case is made and therefore has no choice but to move with the times. So there might be a problem with any of these floppy disks just check \it out and also change the OS if doesn’t works. I hope this could solve your problem.
