    Windows Vista, Cant install anything.

Not to long ago i started noticing that I couldnt install anything. from exe. to the actual command prompt itself, well as administrator anyways which is weird because I can open it in a normal user. Ive tried endless commands and programs all saying "C:\Users\sk8ter\Desktop\*PROGRAM NAME*.exe" The dependency service or group failed to start." I dont know what to do, and help would be appreciated.

To resolve this problem, install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility as administrator. To do this, click the Setup files (msicuu2.exe). And select Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue. I hope this will help you to solve your issue. If you still having same query then you can visit the official site of Microsoft their you will get appropriate solution thank you.
