    unable to write NTFS.

I have a laptop. This laptop’s configuration is good. I use lot’s application on this laptop. It’s speed is amazing because it’s processor core i3 version. I have installed Linux operating system. But I have problem with this laptop. When I can create new files from within Linux and then after write those to the NTFS volume but local files generate an excuse message. Secretively I can write to files enclosed in an NTFS volume across the network but not to files that have been written by NTFS on the local NTFS volume. Then I am unable to write the NTFS file. Tell me, how can I solve this problem?

As I know about the Linux Operating system almost certainly Ubuntu built up the partition as read only. I am not familiar much more about ubuntu. But I know about this a little bit of about this. if you want to override it the you can with help of shell command. The command is sudo mount -t ntfs /dev/PARTITION ~/NTFS_volume. If you see there the partition is”sda” then you will follow with the help of partition number. Then after you will check with the help of this command “less/etc/fstab/” in this shell. I hope this will help you.

I would like to tell you it looks more like he got a kernel error; it appears from what he says the ntfs file system is built up read and writes (as he want, he CAN write to it) but that it is having issues writing over existing files. Therefore, wait and notice if they release a patch (which the likely will - this sounds like a nasty regression, as I have not observe this kind of trouble in about 3 years). But if you want to know about this then you can see the Google just you will write “NTFS file on Ununtu”. Then you will get the result in detail.

Yes, according your problem you can write to the NTFS volume. I had also same problem. Then I solved it. But remember one more thing about this means your files shouldn’t be saved under the NTFS. I can make and alter the new files on the NTFS volume from under the ext4. You cannot alter the saved the NTFS file. The more interesting part is that you can alter files under the NTFS volume across the system that exists on my XP installed laptop. But not on the specific drive on the desktop.

I understood your problem. Then I am replying you that according me what I know about the ext4. Ext4 don’t have write hold up permission for NTFS apparent compression. After I read then I learned this I stopped compression on the NTFS partition. I can write the NTFS file with volume partition. But you will have to follow the rule of the Linux. This is very critical problem. You should know about the ubuntu and using it’s command. Then I’m sure you can fix your problem.

Ok, I think this is possible for writing the NTFS file. But you will follow the some instructions. When you will you write the NTFS file. Then remember you will not write directly to the NTFS file. First of all you will send the file to the Remote system which file you want to write. Therefore in your problem it will be done very easily if you want windows xp. Otherwise you will have to do this process. I know you will follow the steps with carefully.

Today I read your problem then I understood the problem. I want to tell you if you are using the Linux operating system. Then first of all you will have to install the ntfs-3g, and then this would want to write to an NTFS partition. From my point of view first s you will check the NTFS partition. You should have good knowledge about the file system. I don’t have much knowledge about
