![]() I am using windows XP and so I tried to change look of my pc by replacing the shell32.dll file by the one with windows 7 look. But now, I am not able to get the different folder view options like thumbnail, filmstrip, tiles, icons etc. when I click the small icon besides the folder or search option in the explorer window's standard buttons. Can someone help me with this problem? Maybe some code alteration in shell32.dll can help, if so then provide with that information. |

Re: Different folder view missing! That is why it is recommended to Backup the Registry before you start playing with Registries. Anyways, try out these steps:
Now reboot and see if you get back what you want. If not than try to restore the registry file back that you replaced and see if it works. If yet not than restore back the system to any previous restore point. |
