Unable to pin any application on taskbar

I have installed windows 7 on mine system. Everything on the system works fine without any issue. From last night I have small issue on mine taskbar. Last night I have tried to add shortcut to a .exe file to taskbar. While doing this drag and drop the icon for an unwanted symbol appears and after that attempted to remove the shortcut and build a fresh one from the file where it originates and repining, but that does not work. Now I don’t know what to do. Can anyone suggest on this.

I have same issue on mine system as well and I have tried lots of method to solve this issue but I didn’t got the any solution on mine issue but after long searching on the different threads I have tried the to install the program on physical hard drive. I have tried this and it works smoothly and mine issue was getting solved. So I would like to advise you to install the program on your physical hard drive and so that you can solve your issue. I hope this will help you.

I would like to suggest you to remove or delete the Jumplist Recent Items folder and so that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to follow the below steps and so that you can solve your issue. To do this go through the below steps: first make hit on the start and after that go to the computer. Now on the windows explorer go to the following location: %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations. Now here you will get the Jumplist folder and after that delete or remove the all file under that and after that go through your issue. I hope this will help you.

I would like to suggest you to repair your operating system and so that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to have the installation CD on your hand. First insert your installation cd and after that restart your system. During the restarting you will get the installation application and under that select the run setup.exe and after that make hit on the install now. Now you will get the another application and under that maker hit on the Go online to get the latest updates for installation option and after that once the you click this you will get the option to update and after that make hit on that. Now once you finish the update restart your system and after that go through your issue.

Have same issue on mine computer as well and I would like to suggest you the following steps and so that you can solve your issue. To do this go to the start and after that make hit on the run program. Now on the run program type gpedit.msc and after that make hit on the ok button and after that you will get the application and under that go to the User Configuration. Now on the User Configuration make hit on the Administrative Templates and then choose the Administrative Templates. Now on the Administrative Templates go to the Start Menu and Taskbar and under that make hit on the Do not allow pinning programs to the Taskbar and then hit the ok button and after that restart your system and then go through your issue.
