Pc stuck at Windows Set-up

My friend computer was very poorly affected by a virus, which preventing the computer to start and it gets reboot automatically. Previously it rebooting after computer gets start now it reboot regularly. We have installed antivirus software also but it cannot work properly. So we have planned to format our pc and installed a fresh copy of windows xp. But when we trying to boot, it gets hangs at the title of windows xp setup. We have checked bios setup configuration and everything is seem normal .please help us…

First by hitting a “DELETE” key get into BIOS and make some changes, select Boot from Menu and set Boot Device Priority as First Boot Device DVD ROM and Second HARD DRIVE. Press ESC key and select “Save Changes and Exit”. Now Insert Your Bootable Windows Xp CD into your Drive and proceed for installation. If your problem is not solved then simply Change the Bootable disk, Disk may get Damage d or in Bad condition. Or there may be Some Hardware Issue Related to your Computer; it may be in DVD ROM, RAM etc.

Verify By opening the cabinet whether your Computer drive is connected with Sata cable or Ide. If there is IDE/SATA cable then try Formatting by Replacing an IDE/SATA cable. This can help you to solve your issue. There may be an issue of Bad CD/DVD disk, go for Changing the disk and try to install windows xp, there may be a readable issue related with your disk. If you receive an error when being read, try first cleaning the CD before looking for a replacement

Clean your Computer dust, if the much more dust are get jacked in the CPU cooling fan in Metal then the cooling fan will not able to cool the your CPU for long time due to which your computer may get hanged out. Also verify that your CPU thermal paste are in good Condition if not then get it and placed on CPU. Verify your CMOS setting that it Configuration is proper if not then set “First Booting Device “as Your DVD ROM. Or hit “F12” as pc start and “select boot from” option to DVD ROM.

If there are many drive like DVD, CD ROM, HARD DRIVE more than one is attached to it then sometime this may also prevent you to boot your computer. Set the drive configuration as Master And slave install your operating in Master Drive. Or normally remove all Extra Drive; only Master disk and one Disk Drive verify Jumper setting is put to Master not in slave. Then try to boot your drive, if nothing is seen then go to replacement of IDE/SATA cable. You may also try by changing your disk Drive some time the drive is not able to read your disks ever if it is clean. Happy for help

First format your drive using dos mode, and then try to install the Operating system. Verify that the disk you are using to format your Computer is bootable. Some time there may be a mistake while creating the disk because of while it is not able to boot. Once go for replacing the RAM and then try, some time there may be unmatched frequency due to which computer get stuck at particular location. Or Start your Computer in safe mode and remove the latest installed update or software if any and reboot. See that your computer gets start and update antivirus software and scan your full computer.
