    How to Turn off Windows 7 touch pad when remote mouse installed like in windows XP

    I have installed the windows XP on mine system and after that I have install the windows 7 on mine system. Mine system works without any issue, I have touch pad on mine system. Earlier I can turn on or off mine touch pad without any issue. Now I don’t how to make this on widows 7. I have tried lots of threads but I didn’t have the any suggestions on that. Can anyone help on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue. Thanks in advance.

    I have gone through this same issue and after long searching I have find the following steps. I would like to suggest you the following things and so that you can solve your issue. To do this go to the start and after that make hit on the control panel. Now under the control panel make hit on the mouse. Now on the mouse option change status as you wish. I hope this will help you to solve your issue.

    I have faced the same issue on mine system as well and I have a laptop Dell Vostro 1014 and under that i have installed Windows 7. I recently purchase a new USB mouse and currently I think the no need of the touch pad. And while I attempt to disable it, after that won’t let me. I mean I was not able to disable the touch pad on my laptop. Please help me solve the problem.

    Well I think the system needs a driver update. This occurs if the drivers are dishonored or not set up appropriately; it is likely to give such fault. So now you have to do is visiting Dell's personal website and get updated drivers from there. I hope the driver update will help solve the problem.     I would like to suggest you the following steps and so that you can solve your issue. To do this goes through the following steps: make hit on the start icon on the desktop and after that go to the control panel. Now on the control panel select the system and security. Now on the system and security go to the system and then make hit on the device manager. Now on the device manager choose the driver tab and under that make hit on the update driver. Now once you update your diver then go through your issue.
