how to change from XP to windows 7

Hello friends. Greetings to all. I have my personal computer at home since 5 months now. My operating system is windows XP. I wish to change it to windows 7 in some days . Can I get some tips how can I do that as I am new to windows 7 and don’t know what should I do. Hence, detailed procedure will be better rather than I try doing something silly. Also something about windows 7 will be appreciated . Thanks for the help.

Hi. I would like to inform you about some of the necessities before you install windows 7. Before installing windows 7, it is very important that you need to set your set sata controller in basic input output system to advanced host controller interface or in that case raid in case you have. Also, if you have intel control processing unit, then keep in mind to change the 32 bit mode to 64 nit mode if you install windows 7 64 bit. Infact I would advise you to install that only.

Hi. Its good that you are moving on as per the technology. Well, firstly I will tell you that the add and remove programs would have changed and now it will be program features. Also, I would strongly recommend you that do not install divX, nero and even real player, as it will smash your operating system codec’s. Also, folders have been restructured and every folder has a search bar. I hope that you keep all the above things in mind.

Hi. In windows 7, the drivers are not attached in the kernel . Hence, in case if any crash happens then windows will be able to restart it. In case, if graphic driver crashes then an attempt will be made to restart the drivers and thus screen will go black for a second or so and then again be back. Also, power system of the hardware components will be managed by windows 7. Also, there are some special folders which can again group other folders. These are libraries. Also, there is facility to make your own library.

This software can be used to move data over network, usb or disk, that will not only transfer files such as music but also features of emails to your new operating system viz., windows 7. Hi. I would like to bring to your notice that if you install windows 7 on the second partition or hard drive, then data can be moved by dragging and dropping it to the new partition. Also, it is very important to know that installed applications cannot be moved from your windows XP to windows 7. It is mandatory that you will have to install it again. However, if the backups were created on XP, then that data can be brought back to windows 7 from backups .
