How to Reset a BIOS Password (toshiba satellite L310)

Dears Experts.

With most respect i would like to know information about how to remove password on toshiba satellite L350. ?

1-sameone told me that you have to remove the Battery motherboard for 24 hr . and then you have to done remove the password . but i do it . but same problem still password.

Dear experts. i would like to know . if set the password on BIOS . does it possible possible to install new BIOS ? and then after install bios to remove the password ?

Please help me any master mind ....

Probably BIOS password get reset when you remove the CMOS battery. But as you said it dint happened even after removing the same. So what i can say you is try to upgrade BIOS firmware. Hope it will help you.

i dont know how can i upgrade BIOS firmware. and i never upgrade BIOS bcoz on bios have password.
tell me same thing dear . if i have bios password can i also upgrade BIOS ? . thanks

Yes you can do that. Upgrading bios is simply flashing the older version of bios and adding up a new one. It wipes out the passwords and other settings. But remember that if you flashed a wrong bios version or if the operation does not completes successfully then your system can be dead forever. So this a bit risky job. Ensure that you have all types of requirements first to start this thing.

I know some methods to reset bios password.
1. The best and easiest method: Close OS and shut down the electricity power of computer. Open your computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank. Put it back after a few minutes.

2. Follow some tutorials. For example the tutorials:

3. Use the bios password recovery tool , but that is not free!

So I would suggest you the 1st method. Hope it helps.

You can use a screwdriver to touch the positive and negative terminals of the battery holder (NOT the battery!)

What BIOS verison do you have?....Phoenix? If so, After you entered the WRONG pass 3 times....GIVE ME THAT NUMBER!
