Does Windows 7 has a file comparison utility

Previous versions of the Windows operating system was having a "WinDiff.Exe" as a rudimentary and i think that it was quite effective tool to use. I have recently installed the Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop machine and I am not able to find out the same thing. As I am not aware of the user interface of this new operating system, Can you guys tell me that does this utility has been changed by some other name or it has been just removed out of the operating system. Prior to this, I was using the Windows XP.

I know that the all the older versions of the windows operating system was having a Windows File Comparison Utility but I am sorry to say that the there is no such utility under the Windows 7. But there is no problem for using the same utility file even on the windows 7 operating system as many of the users are using the same thing on windows 7 by manually installing it. I suggest you to do the same. You need to copy the same file from any other windows and then install it on the correct registry on your windows 7 OS.

If it is a virus that destroys their Windiff.exe or if for some other reason, its Windiff.exe is damaged or accidentally deleted, you have to take the following steps to repair the error Windiff.exe. Look back on your system Windiff.exe. Check if there is a copy of Windiff.exe in the C: \ windows \ system32 dllcache \ or C: \ windows \ ServicePackFiles \ i386. If this is the case, go ahead and Windiff.exe copy the system folder C: \ windows \ system32. If you do not find a copy on your system, you can try to find the file in the Windows installation disks. Finally, it could only reinstall Windows. However, this would be very long and you may lose all your data. So this would be a last resort.
