with windows vista.. BEFORE installing windows 7 it says it can not recognize my hard drive on which to install windows 7 on...

ok well i have windows Vista and when i tried to install windows 7 it would not recognize my hard drives. i then got this message up...

to install the device driver needed to access your hard drive, insert the installation media containing the driver files, and then click OK.

Note: The installation media can be a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive.

I have the windows 7 cd.. but it finds nothing!

I would be grateful for any help....

The first thing that I want you to tell here is that you have to set the first boot device as a CD Rom and the second boot device as the floppy or anything else. And then it will definitely read the CD and now the system that is throwing you the error that can’t recognize the hard drive then I guess that hard drive that you are using is not having enough place on the same. I hope this helps you to get appropriate information on the error.
