The exe has a windows edition check built in for the reason that it must be ran with Windows XP or higher. While ran in Windows 7, it will inform you that the program needs Windows XP or Vista. To get around this check is quite simple. You have to Move xpadder.exe where you would like the program to run (this is a separate application not an installer). You have to download in addition to install Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit from Microsoft website.

You have to press Start after that Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.5 after that right press on Compatibility Administrator plus Run as Admin. Along the top, press Fix. Name the program entry as Xpadder 5.3, browse for the exe, and after that press next. in Operating System Modes select None. After that scroll down to the end of the list plus check WinXPSP2VersionLie, after that press Next. This next page will permit you to further customize the application flags or add shortcut parameters. Xpadder does not have any particular shortcut parameters, so press Next.

You have to mark the purple field next to Checksum, so this solution will merely apply to Xpadder 5.3, in case you make a decision to attempt a newer edition later on. In addition to press finish. You be able to save the database to an .sdb file if you wish. While you are the entire set, right press on the database as well as press install now when you run Xpadder 5.3 on your computer, it will utilize the compatibility alternative that you select as well as skip the edition check.
