I thing the problem that you are facing here is due to the setup file that you are trying to run and that is the reason why you are unable to run the software on the system. Actually you must have downloaded the software from any unauthorized site or I can say that from the untrusted source. So make sure that you are visiting the official site and then downloading the software here and then installing the same on the system that you are using and I am sure that if the setup file is original then you will never face any issues with same.

Well the below steps will definitely help you to solve the issue:
  • Go to Control Panel and click on Administrative Tools, then double click on Computer Management.
  • Expand the Services & Applications menu item.
  • Double-click Services.
  • Double-click Windows Installer and stop the service.
  • Launch regedit from run.
  • Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ MSIServer.
  • Select the MSIServer subkey.
  • Delete this key value.
  • Go to microsoft.com and re-download the latest version of Windows Installer.

Re: Getting error: "Java Error 1723? on my windows 7 system

The problem here clearly says that the windows installer is not in the appropriate condition or not doing well. So you have to check whether you are able to find the updated version of the windows installer and if the installer is appropriate then you will not get any such issues. So what you have to do here is that just visit the official site which is nothing but of Microsoft?s and then find out the updated installer then install it on the same system. I hope that installing the installer will fix it up.

Well firstly you have to remove the unneeded application or software from the system because it might have happen that the JAVA might be conflicting with any other software. So it will be good if you are removing the same and once the unnecessary software?s are removed then you have to just see whether you are able to install the application or not and if not then try to update the operating system that you are using and checkout which version you are using and if it is not of the windows 7 ultimate then see to it that you are making it t6o the ultimate version.

Re: Getting error: "Java Error 1723? on my windows 7 system

Hello yesterday I was facing this same issue. And now I solve this issue after wasting around seven hrs behind it. I tried countless explanation on tons of dissimilar forums. What I did is I obliterate the jre6 folder situated at C: Program Files(x86)/Java/jre6/. Subsequently I copied the jre6 folder commencing an additional computer that had an operating Java runtime environment, onto the computer through the 1723 error. I hope this will help you to solve your issue. Thank you.

Re: Getting error: "Java Error 1723? on my windows 7 system

Friends,
Hope this helps.I was facing issues while installing jdk 6u30 on my
windows 7.I was getting Error:1723.I assume this is because of already set-up older corrupted jdk/jre versions in the computer which affect the installation of new version. In my case I was unable to uninstall these older versions due to same Error 1723.
I did these steps which worked for me:

1.I went to my computer's Start >Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features >uninstall a program
Here I could see all my older Java Vms installed which I could not uninstall by clicking the uninstall button here.

2. So I went to "http://itechlog.com/microsoft/2011/09/25/fix-java-install-error-1334-and-error-1723/"
and downloaded "MicrosoftFixit.ProgramInstallUninstall.Run.exe" and uninstalled all my java older versions.Follow steps in above link.
3.Since my system is 64 bit Windows 7,I installed a lated jdk 6u30 for windows 64 bit from
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...d-1377142.html.

All good for me .Hope this helps you guys.
