How to Install Android on Sciphone i68?

Hey a very good morning to all of you, I have got one query and I hope that some one of you will be able to help me out with this query. Recently I have purchased a cheap chinese Sciphone i68 from ebay. Although, cheap but I think that this is absolutely a good buy as it has all the features that are required by a smart phone. I know that it sounds silly to ask but still I would want to know that is there any way through which I can install Android OS on it. This phone comes with a totally Java-based OS and I would want to have Andriod running on it because of its capability to hold and run each and every application on it. So I there is a way to install this and if any one knows this so please provide me with the steps and please provide with some relevant information.

Hey friend its a very good idea of having an Android operating system running on Chinese smart phones of yours, but I think that this phone will not support the Android operating system even if your are able to install it completely. The problem would be in terms of the making the Android operating system compatible with the components of the Sciphone i68 which is actually designed so as to only handle java based application. Since the phone which have Java as their Operating platform so I think that the phone will have less presences in holding each and every application. So I think that it would be fruitful that we just stink to what we have with us.

The SciPhone originally imitate as an iPhone, especially if you are going by the looks , but one thing is certain that this phone doesn’t have al the facility that the iPhone provides to us. It seems that the i68 have used its design from the iPhone and could be a possible alternate just in case you are looking for something similar. I think that most of the iphone have Android operating system on it because they are designed to perform more function as compared to other general phone. Your phone has a little bit less compatibility and that is why I think that it is not good o have this operating system on SciPhone.

Re: How to Install Android on Sciphone i68?

Although I have not done this by myself but I think that what ever you have taught could be made possible. This is something like a challenge for all of us and if we are successful in making this thing possible we will be able to rock. Since the source code for Android is an open source code so no doubt we can easily generate this code an compile this the way we want. If are comfortable with this then I think that you can easily install the Android os on your phone by creating a Java executable for the phone's current OS that will help in installing the OS. You can bring about the installation through either an SD card or from a USB network connection. I hope that you understand what I am trying to say.

Re: How to Install Android on Sciphone i68?

Hey friends I have done exactly as you have said, I have created a Java executable for the phone's current OS an have successfully compiled and installed the Android Os through USb network connection. But the problem is that my phone is running very slow. I takes a hell lot of time to open any application. Also, sometimes while using any application the phone gets freeze and I have to forcefully restart it again. IS there any way through which i can improve the processing speed of this phone through overclocking. So guys please give some suggestion on this.

Hey I think that phone will be unable to handle too much of power and that is why you are getting hanged up while using any application. One of the option that you can try out is that you can remove every unwanted data and free some memory so that the phone has enough space to do the processing. Also you should make sure that you run only one application at a time. Over clocking is certainly not a good option and I think that it will damage the phone.

I would like to tell you that this is simply not possible to do that. There are many users who are trying to do the same but they are not able to do that. I would like to tell you that the hardware of that phone is too weak to support it and that is the reason that it is not able to support that.
