To recover very quickly and easily vidoes just add "kick" just before youtube. On the new page, choose your video quality on the top banner and click "GO". Finally, to save your video, once the button "GO" past "DOWN", do a right click, save target as. I have tried this technique and it is very much useful for downloading the videos in the great quality. I have downloaded some HD videos for free from the youtube.

Free Download Manager is a free download that allows both files to download classic video in flv format from sites like YouTube or Google Video. Once the video is downloaded, simply convert it (right software Free Download Manager) in the desired format. File formats supported are:
    • AVI
    • XVID
    • FLV
    • WMV
    • MPG (MPEG1)
    • MPEG2
    • AAC (MP4) for iPod
    • MP3

To retrieve a video in a page, just follow these steps:
    • Copy the URL of the page containing the video.
    • Click on the download tab.
    • Upload a new file.
    • Click OK!

The extension Unplug is for Firefox that captures just a streaming video to flv format on most video streaming sites.
    • Install the extension
    • Go to the URL of the video capture
    • Click on the Unplug icon, which is by default right from the search bar
    • A window opens showing a number of links: below is a link written "Possible Location of Embedded Media"
    • Click the Save button to download the video.
