How can I delete program in the Programs 86 directory in Windows 7

I have Windows 7 running here on my system but to tell frankly I am really unhappy with the way Windows 7 is treating with me here. Windows 7 is simply not allowing me to remove programs that are there in the Programs 86 directory. I have even seen that I cannot simply make the necessary changes there. It says that I will be required to have permissions for the same there. I am really fed up with this. Can anyone there let me know what this permission for here is? Is there a way by which I can get this permission thing to stop here?

If you want to remove or overwrite a system file and if you are having operating system as Windows 7 or Vista then let me tell you that you cannot obliterate the system files. Even if you are the Administrator then also you will not be allowed to have access for such thing there. The probable reason behind this is that Windows system files are actually possessed by the TrustedInstaller service. By default it is under the possession of TrustedInstaller service; and all this things are done so that you can have a better set of security guarding your system.

Well in reality the security features have been enhanced as the evolution of Windows has been going on. In the previous versions for example in Windows XP there was no such restriction there but in Windows Vista a similar situation was able to be seen. After that as Windows 7 is a mix of the good features of both Windows XP and Windows Vista hence you are going to get this permission things here. The only reason for this is that you will have a security of higher level.

What has been mentioned above is true and let me tell you that if you want to make the changes then you can get this by taking the Ownership of that particular thing. After you will be able to take the ownership then you will be required to take the ownership of those files and in addition to that you will have to allocate yourself rights so that you can remove or amend the files. Well if you want you can make use of the Command Prompt here. Click on the Start Button and then type CMD in the search Box and then type the following command in the command prompt there: takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\en-US\winload.exe.mui . Hope that you will find this working in your case there.

Really the security features have been raised in Windows 7 so that you can enjoy the Windows and other features with much ease and you will be in touch with all the applications that are running here on your system here. So Windows has not allowed to access the access the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders directly. Well if you want to get rid of this thing then you can follow the steps below but let me warn you that you will have to do the things on your own risk there. Click on the Start icon and then go in the All Programs. Under the All Programs you will be required to see for Accessories; then you will be required to Right-click Windows Explorer and then RUN this as Administrator.
