I am having doubt about the compatibility of Windows XP 32-bit with the 2 TB HDD. I have not checked yet, but will post here as I come to know. But, I think that 32-bit will not support the 2 TB HDD. If you want to hang out with Windows XP, then you will have to change your operating system to 64-bit. I am not sure about it, but seems like that.
Thanks for the update .Can one help me on this issue as I am planning to buy the hardware in a day or two
any support would be most helpful......
After going through number of post I found that Windows 7 is the best one to use a 2TB hard drive. Windows XP has support for the driver in various ways. Like if your motherboard supports 4 SATA port then you can add up 4 500GB drives. The same is works really very slow due to the old platform of Windows XP. Till yet there is no better update provided. You can try to check the same on it, it will work extremely slow if you try to move a large amount of data.
