Unable to connect guitar as well as monitor Line In without Latency in windows 7

On all my earlier Windows installation, I have been capable on the way to connect a guitar into line-in as well as monitor is with no latency all the way through the speakers. This way playing as well as hearing is in real-time. Is this somewhat to be deal by means of in Windows 7 or else am I overlooking several setting? I have been performing this from the time when almost 2004 with no problem on earlier edition. Does the windows sound management not offer a straight fast monitor signal?

Get vista compatible enthusiastic hardware Input / output device, do not make use of a usual sound card. As well as put the sound drivers on the computer desktop, as well as right click them for 'troubleshoot compatibility' and try to run in vista mode. The Vista mode may function for you. Hope this will help you to get rid of this issue.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will try this will in the night I will be at hole. As a result does this mean that each and every line-in monitor is in universal all the way through software (driver) pass-through at the same time as opposed to being hardwired on the sound card? Furthermore now I am moving from a single core 2.6GHz processor to a quad core 2.6GHz processor as well as increase the ram, I was viewing it would make more efficient it , as different to cause.

I even did not understand you. Do you imply place the drivers folder on computer desktop, and then go to device manager furthermore construct it install the drivers from the folder (that you have posted on your desktop)and after that perform troubleshoot compatibility. As well as either manner how would windows be familiar with to for all time run those drivers inside Vista mode. Windows be able to identify as well as run it in the requested mode?

I as well got the accurate similar trouble. I am having a Dell Dimension E510 (line-in is part of the onboard SigmaTel audio hardware). I also downloaded the Vista edition of the drivers from the manufacturer i.e., dell's website. Previous to that, windows will not yet distinguish that I had a line-in. Anyhow, after I lastly had line-in functioning, I had a perceptible stoppage in the output.

I expect they get this resolved in the release edition. To the extent that I like Windows 7 for presently regarding the whole thing else, this is type of a deal breaker for me. I have also heard a number of people propose making use of the windows XP emulator, however from the time when emulators talk to the host operating system and not openly to the hardware, it would most likely just cause a larger latency.I actually expect that this is a driver problem and not a Windows 7 problem.
