Windows 7 Touch Screen not performing

Hello friends, I am currently working with the have an HP laptop with touch screen support. In Vista the screen worked and supported together touch and pen settings, however after installing and upgrading the Windows 7 RC1 on to the system. The screen usually only supports the pen. The N-Trig drivers for the HP tx2z do not work on the tx2525nr. Please somebody position me in the correct way to enable touch on my screen again. Thanks in advance

For HP Touch Smart, the driver is obtainable though the Windows Update. After you have installed the Window 7 Beta operating system, then you open the Windows Update through the Start list of options. Then you may have to click on to the “Check for Updates” linkage which is located on the left side as a result it will then locate the driver, it is Optional right at the moment you’ll have to choose it before it will install.

To confirm whether the multi-touch is functioning then you try our new Paint. The newest edition of Paint has several cool new brushes that are intended for multi-touch, hit it off on the Brushes gallery and choose any one. Now you perform the finger painting – this is also the simple method to observe how many fingers your PC supports at the similar time, several of then support two at a time, others support 4 or more than that. You can also make use of the touch to find the way all along the taskbar. The fresh Jump Lists on the taskbar are touch optimized, as a replacement for right-clicking on one of the icons on the taskbar; try dragging up on it with your finger to exactly drag the menu up.

For the Dell Latitude XT and HP Touch Smart tx2 Tablet PCs: the drivers are available now on N-Trig’s web page. N-Trig is the manufacturer that provides the digitizer in this Personal Computer. You should have to read the oncoming notes, there are some limitations, like no pen support you must be well known of and how to switch in between the Windows Vista and Windows 7. Also I read somewhere that there is the difficulty that takes place during the installation. The WACOM drivers are required to be reinstalled and the touch screen will work yet again.

Windows 7 has the extensibility for touch screen devices, though the hardware developers should have to blame for designing and creating the drivers/software for these touch enabled devices. For that you should need to get in touch with the manufacturer of that device. If the difficulty still continues, then you should have to understand that Windows 7 is a latest operating system and entire driverstore have been reprogrammed; several older drivers is not well-suited with new Operating System. I recommend that you must wait for one more period of time till the retail version is released and push the seller company to improve their device driver. Hope this assists you out.
