Hello everyone, I need to install Windows 2000 SP4 on a laptop where there is Windows 7 64Bit. I created a new partition, but when I insert the disc it gives me an error message and I will block installation. Does anyone know what is the procedure to fix it? What I want to do is not correct and, if conducted, will block the launch of Windows 7. The installation of a system that is so dated in a laptop new generation is always a random. So in order to fix this you can use VirtualBox (which supports Windows 2000 as guest) to create a virtual machine inside Windows 7 and then install Windows 2000 inside.

So it should work with VirtualBox ?? That is, can I install a 32bit OS like W2K on a support 64bit using VirtualBox? If anybody tries this then please share your experience over here so I can also take some of the information through this. For the reason that I am also facing this issue and really it is very annoying issue. So I hope may be your suggestion can help me.

I do not think that it will support on to the 32-bit also. Because whatever software which is released by the company they are making different format for the 64-bit and for the 32-bit. But it is from now may be because not all the software are designed on this basis. So you just give a try to this may be it work.
