Windows 7 64 bit: Spoolss.dll missing on SysWOW64 folder

I could not discover the 32 bit spoolss.dll in SysWOW64 folder on 64 bit windows 7. My 32 bit application which calls the APIs of this dll is deteriorating because of this. In previous windows versions vista and XP this dll used to be present there in both SysWOW64 and system32 folder. Is this the change in design by Microsoft? What is the probable resolution in this case? Please provide some useful information.

I think there is problem with your printer driver. So just verify with the printer drivers. Setup the updated drivers for the printer. That is what is reasoning this problem. So please first install the proper and suitable drivers and then let me know. I am searching more information for your problem, but first try this. All the Best….

I also contain the similar issue, and as you say install the driver, then I must say that this is not the issue with the drivers. We have our own print supplier which is endeavor to call API of spoolss.dll, but since 32 bit spoolss.dll in missing in SysWOW64 folder on 64 bit windows 7 which utilized to be present in previous 64 bit windows versions. Please provide more help.

As you say that your Spoolss.dll file is missing on SysWOW64 folder, then I think this the problem of virus. Which antivirus are you using? Is that antivirus is updated? I must say that this problem is because virus. So please first update the antivirus and then must inform that this solve your problem or not.
