Windows 7 Scan Overriding Canon MX310

With Windows XP and Vista, the Canon MX310 scan/fax can be configured as .tif, .bmp, .jpg AND .pdf. The Windows 7 Scan function will not allow a .pdf configuration. Do I need to download an updated Canon driver or is there something in Windows 7 I'm missing to get the .pdf functionality?

Yes that is correct. You will need a updated driver version for that. I had provided you a direct link below for the same. Click on that and choose the operating system you have. Download drivers and run. The drivers helps the hardware to understand the computer commands. So if there are old drivers, you might not get a better support. I always recommended to run a fresh driver updates for all hardware.
