Linux: Flash plug-in is not working in Firefox

Having a Dell computer with the Linux environment. Download and install the flash square 64-bit plug in for the play the video file in the computer. And tried to apply the plug in the Firefox browser which is installed in my computer. I applied in the following paths /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/,/opt/firefox/plugins/,/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/, and in the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/. The problem is the flash player plug in is not seeing in the Firefox. It shows that the plug in not installed in the browser. I removed all the instances of the plug in but found no positive result. Any suggestion on this problem?

Go for the Adobe flash player plug in which is compatible with the operating system version that you are using. Download that one into your computer and the install this one for the browser. After that open the browser window and go to the tool menu option of the browser and locate the plug in and then restart the browser and access the plug into play the file.

To install the Flash plug in the Firefox in the Linux environment first you have to close the Firefox browser if it is running, then open the terminal or the shell prompt window of the Linux and there type the following code to install the flash plug in for the Firefox browse, the commend is “$ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree”. This is the simplest way to install the he flash plug in the browser also you can also install the plug in into the computer. you just visit the web page of the Adobe flash player and after open the web site page it will show you the notification in the top right corner of the window, it shows like the Install Missing Plug-in. click on that notification, it will redirect you into the download window of the plug in, it will automatically search the latest version of the plug in for the browser. And gives you the option to download that file. Download it in your computer and install in the program file of the computer. It will also install the plug for the browser.

Extract all the contents of the Firefox browser in the separate folder of the machine. In the Linux machine the path will be look like the /usr/lib. Then navigate the contents in the usr/lib/firefox/plugins it will the configure with the. Select the version of the plug in that you are using in the browser. Extract the libflashplayer.so from the package. then right click on the rpm package which will allow you to run the plug-in in the Firefox browser.
