Unable to open Zune Media Player

I have installed Zune media player driver on my system. I am using it from last six month it was working properly without any problem. But recently I have faced the error message “One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned...etc” on my system and my Zune media player unable to play the audio or video on my system. Do anyone have the solution to solve the problem of Zune. Any solutions related to this problem will be appreciated.

To resolve this problem from your system you can go for these steps. Hope this will work on your system.

• Restart your system.
• Make sure you are utilizing the cable intended for your system.
• Attach in a different USB port.
• Install Zune media player software version 4.7.1404.0.
• And then start using the Zune media player on to your system.

I have tried the above given solution on my system and I am using windows XP on my system. But these steps didn’t solve my problem and again I am facing the same problem on my system. Do anyone else have any other solution to solve the problem of Zune media player from my system. Please suggest me.

The above solution has not solved your problem because you are using the windows XP on your system. I will suggest you to install the windows XP service pack 3 on your system. After installing the service pack 3 restart your Zune media player on your system and hope you will be able to run your audio as well as the video file properly on to your system.

I hope you should reinstall your Zune device software. To reinstall the Zune device software, on your system follow these steps.

• Click and hold the On/Off key for about minimum 10 seconds until it restarts.
• Immediately click and hold the Media player key until “CONNECT ZUNE TO YOUR PC” is shown on the display.
• After “CONNECT ZUNE TO YOUR PC” is viewed, then attached your Zune HD to the system that must have the current version of the Zune software.
• Update the device to present version of the device software.
• And then start your Zune player.
