    Down Windows 7 Security Policy for setting password

    I'm thinking of changing windows 7 Security Policies on My Laptop, i'm tired of resetting a password every 30 days, i want it to be one password forever. is it not going to affect anything of some sort in my securities for windows that i can't change back.

    I would suggest you a way to make the changes that you need. You have to first open up the Local security policy. Now as this is been done in the left hand pane you would see an option that is Password policy. Click on it. Then on the right hand pane you would see an option that is Maximum password age. By default the the time limit is 42 days that is after that certain period of time you have to change the password. You can change it or exceed the age limit by clicking on it. You can make it to 365 days. It is necessary that you have to change the password atleast once a year. There is no other way. Hope this helps you out and you can work without the need of changing password for one year.
